Welcome to the Van Horn Jubilee 2010 Website!  Jubilee 2005 was a great success and we want to make Jubilee 2010 even better. This is where we need your help. If you ever lived in Van Horn for any length of time, whether it was for one day or a lifetime we want to see you at Jubilee 2010. In 2005 we had over 1600 people sign in at the Van Horn Convention Center and Visitors Bureau, and we are pretty sure that quite a few folks showed up Saturday night for the dance and didn't get a chance to sign in. We had a lot of fun last Jubilee with an informal get together at the Convention center, a pancake breakfast, a barbecue,  and the Clarke Hotel Museum was open. There was an open house at the high school with class pictures in the halls and a special Memorial Wall listing many of our friends that are no longer with us. Out on the front lawn of the high school there was an ice cream social, then a pep rally in the gym where it was standing room only. We had former cheerleaders spanning almost fifty years leading us in cheers, speeches from a few former coaches and even a few former players. All ending Saturday night where we all had a great time at the dance.

We need to get started getting the word out to everyone about Jubilee 2010, and we would welcome your suggestions for any activity that you would like to see this time around. Just register with us on the Contact Us page and we will see that you get on our EMail list where you will periodically receive our ENewsletter keeping you up to date on the plans for the Jubilee. We have a Memorial Page on this Website so if you would like to submit the name of a friend or loved one that we have lost, we will be listing them there, as well as some type of Memorial at the Jubilee. Keep checking back on this Website on our Activities page and as plans are finalized we will put together a schedule  as far ahead of time as we possibly can.
